According to ScamWatch, the amount of money lost due to predatory scams totaled more than $142 million dollars in 2019. Scammers have consistently made very lucrative careers by tricking people out of their hard earned money. As a young adult who has seen many friends and family members fall into the trap of faulty products and pyramid schemes now hiding under the false label of a “multi-level marketing scheme” I decided that it’s my moral obligation to try and help save people from the predator’s that are out there.
With that said, I’ve ultimately decided to appoint the internet as my partner in crime as I try to debunk myths, fake products, and promote those that have actually benefited myself in some form or another.
Now, before I begin my journey to help others make informed decisions I’d like to remind you that my opinion is nothing more than my opinion. If I am not particularly fond of a certain product it does not mean it won’t revolutionize your life.
About 3 months ago I was talking to my aunt who had lost about 20 pounds in a couple of months. Granted, she had an operation coming up and the doctor recommended she lose a couple pounds before moving forward with the operation so this was less of a choice and more of an unfortunate situation to be put in. Thankfully, the operation was completed about a week ago and all is well. But this left me with a couple questions…how’d she lose the fat and lose it so quickly?
Not going to lie, my aunt’s a bit of an extremist so my first thought was “she’s definitely eating cotton balls dipped in orange juice” or something along those lines. However, when I asked her about what she was doing she told me two things:
She began taking a shot of apple cider vinegar every morning with a cup of water
She had began taking a supplement called Leptitox
Now, I’ve read quite a bit into the apple cider vinegar and have heard a lot of good things about it suppressing your appetite, but this was the first time i’d heard of Leptitox so I did a bit of research.
After I looked into it I found it to be very promising so I ordered a bottle just to try it out. I spend about the same amount on a high quality multi vitamin that I take every morning anyways so I figured there was no harm in trying something different for a short time.
It’s been the end of a month and I am ready to break down both the pros and cons of my Leptitox experience.
First the Pros:
I was able to lose about 4 pounds this month while making no other lifestyle changes. (This might not sound like much but my body has stayed at the same weight for about a year without changing)
By about the second week of use I was no longer getting hungry around 1 pm as my body usually does.
By far the best part of my experience was the energy difference. I am a really busy person and with that said I usually consume about 3-4 cups of coffee throughout my day to keep me going. However, Leptitox definitely altered how my body responds to a caffeine crash (and in a good way).
Better sleep. I’ve always had issues sleeping at night but Leptitox definitely made it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep. With that said, this may have occured solely because I was drinking less coffee during the day but I figured it was worth mentioning.
Now the Cons:
For starters, I think the advertising for Leptitox is a little ambitious. There’s stories of people losing upwards of 40 pounds. It can be a little misleading to promise crazy weight loss and then not informing the audience of how long that weight loss took. Leptitox may ultimately lead you to lose 40 pounds of fat, but don’t think it’ll happen overnight.
Bathroom use. I usually “excrete waste” once a day but these pills had me going…For me this was an extreme inconvenience but again this is just my opinion. So this may even be a pro for you.
The Leptitox doesn’t really start to “work” or have any of its beneficial changes until about the second week so that means you’ve got to consistently take the pills to truly see any note-worthy changes.
The Final Verdict:
If you are on the fence about purchasing Leptitox, I’ve decided to make an easy to read flow chart to help you decide.
